Dealing with Harassment and Illegal Eviction Course

Regulation of the Private Rented Sector is moving rapidly up the agenda for government plans to increase efficient activities of local authorities. Clause 58 of the Renter’s Reform Bill when it is enacted will place a duty of local authorities to investigate and enforce a range of housing breaches, including the protection from Eviction Act 1977, which only provides the power for councils to take action. Clause 58 will be a landmark change for councils across England, requiring a reinvigoration of skills and knowledge that have been declining in the past 7 years. We are so pleased to offer this course which has been created and delivered by a Tenancy relations Officer with 33 years’ experience in dealing with harassment and illegal eviction. Ben has over 20 years exclusively training local authority frontline housing services staff, is unique and timely. One has been commissioned by Legal Action Group Publications to write the UKs first book on dealing with harassment and illegal eviction for frontline workers. Due to be published early in 2024
